Final class of 2022

20th December 2022

Last nights final class of 2022 was a great sucess and was attended by 26 students - thank you to everyone who attended.

Of course we started off by paying our respects to Sensei Tommy Mountford who passed away earlier in the day. We did some training and also had some fun and games along the way.

Thank you to all the Instructors and Students - this club is about you and for you - you make it what it is.

We have had a brilliant 2022 and I'm hoping for an even better 2023, we will be holding our own internal competition and hopefully entering some external events as well. Plus grading (hopefully more Dan grades to come as well) and many other things that I am working on. During 2022 everyone has made brilliant progress and I can't wait to see what you achieve next year.

Congratulations to everyone who got an end of year award, especially Elise for getting Student of the Year 2022 - very well deserved. And also massive congratulations to Sensei's Fred and Dave on their Dan grade promotions, taking them to 3rd and 4th Dan respectively - well done!

Thank you to everyone who has given me a Christmas card and/or gift - it is very much appreciated.

I'm proud to be your Sensei, enjoy the break and have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2023.

See you when we return on the 9th January.

Sensei.
