An update on Karate Classes and Online Training.

28th April 2020

Dear Student / Parent / Guardian,

I hope you are all keeping safe and well during this strange and worrying time. Personally I am missing all of you and missing teaching classes face to face. I can’t wait for things to change so we can get back to proper training. However, as we all know there is no sign of lockdown easing or exactly what that would entail, so for now we have no idea when we will be able to resume normal classes.

I do appreciate your support and I know that a number of you have been attending the Online “CyberDojo” classes. Please keep this training up as much as possible. I know it can be challenging at times with lack of space, no partner to work with, connection drops etc, but it keeps us all (including me) going and hopefully this way we will all not forget too much. For those who were not far off grading before classes stopped, my hope is that you still won’t be far off when we do return so that we can get a grading in soon after we get back.

Please make use of the Online Classes and remember that they are Free. The times are:

Monday 7pm

Thursday 7pm

Classes generally run for about 45 minutes or so and the instructions for joining are available on our Club website (or contact me directly for details):

Also may I also remind you to ensure that your SKU Licence is kept up to date as this is also a requirement for Online Classes.

Please keep a regular check on our Club Website and follow us on Facebook to ensure you don’t miss any updates.
